Bargeddie Branch SurgeryWelcome to The Willow Practice at Viewpark Health Centre and The Surgery in Bargeddie.

This surgery website will be used to present all our patients in Uddingston and Bargeddie with up to date news and information about our four doctors' practice. We will keep it current with any developments or other details that we feel are relevant to you. 

As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff and the services we provide, we hope you will use this website as a useful resource for other health-related information. PATIENTS PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOW KNOWN AS THE WILLOW PRACTICE AND YOU CAN FIND US AT THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: the willowpractice.co.uk 

1. ON 28th OF MARCH 2012 OUR DOCTORS AND NURSE  WILL PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING. THIS MEANS THAT THE TELEPHONES WILL BE MANNED BY THE OUT OF HOURS SERVICE (THE SAME SERVICE THAT IS USED WHEN THE SURGERY IS CLOSED IN THE EVENING) PLEASE ENSURE PRESCRIPTIONS ARE COLLECTED BEFORE 1PM ON THIS DATE.

2.  THE PRACTICE WOULD APPRECIATE ALL CARERS (COMMUNITY OR FAMILY) OF PATIENTS WITHIN THIS PRACTICE TO NOTIFY US OF THEIR NAME AND CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER. THIS IS MOST HELPFUL TO US IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY - ANY INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT ON THE PATIENTS RECORDS AND USED ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATON. 3.   PATIENTS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT THIS SURGERY NOW DOES A LATE NIGHT SURGERY ON A TUESDAY EVENING FOR PRE-BOOKABLE ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS FOR WORKERS.

4.   FLU VACCINES START IN OCTOBER - ANYONE OVER 65YRS OR WITH ASTHMA, LUNG PROBLEMS, HEART DISEASE OR DIABETES PLEASE TELEPHONE FOR AN APPOINTMENT. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUERIES CONTACT SISTER WARDROPE AT THE SURGERY.

5.   Just a reminder - Please remember if you have an appointment and cannot keep it, please phone and cancel as this will allow other patients to be seen and the doctors time will not be wasted. In the month of August 85 appointments were booked and patients did not attend.
